(Re)Thinking Neighbourhoods

Atlantic Developments identifies neighbourhoods with great potential and contributes to making those neighbourhoods even better. We are proud to have been an active participant in the revitalization of Gottingen and Agricola Streets in Halifax, Queen Street East in Toronto, and proud to have partnered with Polycorp to build the new 5 km trail, with accompanying sitting and parking facilities in Long Lake Provincial Park, next to our 40-acre Long Lake Village development.

Past projects

  • Agricola West

Agricola West is a 42-unit multi-residential building located at 5684 West Street in downtown Halifax. The building contains a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom units. Agricola West features a generous complement of common area and amenity space in several locations on the ground floor and rooftop, along with underground parking and dedicated bicycle spaces.

  • Harris East

An early morning jog down Agricola Street. A patch of grass and a good read on The Common. A cup of fair trade coffee brewed fresh at an independent café. When you make Harris East your home, you also get everything our vibrant neighbourhood has to offer.

  • Theatre Lofts

One of Halifax’s most original and exciting developments, Theatre Lofts has made its mark on Gottingen St. with a community of 45 contemporary loft-style condominium townhouses surrounding an elegant and private courtyard. Recipient of the Nova Scotia Lieutenant Governor’s 2011 Design Award in Architecture.

  • Long Lake Village

Nestled on 40 acres next to the 5000-acre Long Lake Provincial Park, Long Lake Village is a flexible mix of multi-unit buildings, single-family homes and townhouses.

  • Narrows Basin

Narrows Basin is a 12-lot bare-land condominium development, 5 minutes from Mahone Bay. The development offers snow removal, lawn maintenance, on-site sewage, electricity, and communications.

  • Queen Richmond Centre

Consisting of seven historic office buildings (circa 1870-1900) totalling 230,000 square feet in downtown Toronto, the Queen Richmond Centre redevelopment involved fully gutting and renovating the buildings. Atlantic Developments was a partner in this project that received a City of Toronto Heritage Award for maintaining its exterior historic integrity while offering an inspiring interior office environment.
